Yelling for Yashmin

Before today, I never imagined that an accident could be so sudden and so brutal and so devastating. Yes, I am mourning the death of Yashmin, who until later afternoon today was alive, walking with her classmate and in a brief moment fell into her friend's agonising hands and slipped away from our world, forever. I feel doubly sad because fate didn't give her even a second to realise that she was ending her life in next split second. I don't even pray heaven, for it has shown its ugliest face ever.

After attending the condolence meet at 9 a.m. in college, we went to the funeral ceremony and paid our 'last respects'.
Its still like a dream for us, being hard to believe that our friend whom we saw yesterday in the class is no more in this world today. We mourn for our dear friend's cruel unexpected death, which she din't deserve, while her mother's cry "Yasmeen...Yasmeen..." rings in our ears, today, and don't know for how long.
May her soul rest in peace.
Yes, it is the bitter truth that it was fate that brought her life to an end, but for the rest of us life still goes on...

It was a very unfortunate accident to happen to anyone. I pray to god to let her soul rest in peace, and give her family and everyone who knew her the strength to be strong.
